On Friday our little man turned 9 months old!! I love this age! He has such a sweet, fun personality and every day a little more of it comes out. Some of the things he does now just cracks us up! Whether its funny noises or funny faces we are definitely entertained these days.
So, here's a little update on mister Coop. He has 6 teeth now, 4 on bottom, 2 on top. And probably any day he will have another one. He has been drooling and gnawing on things like crazy the past couple of days. He isn't crawling yet but he's SO CLOSE! He rocks backs and forth and he scoots, but he hasn't actually crawled :) His new favorite food is baby yogurt. He still eats a variety of fruits and veggies. We tried meat but he hated it! He wouldn't even swallow it, so we will have to keep working on that one. Also, he still has not had one drop of formula! YAY! He has started to wave bye bye (when he wants to). And, he still hasn't said Mama despite my effort each day to get him to. HA!
Love that sweet smile!
He looks like he has had a rough day in this picture! LOL!
Goofy kid
This was his St. Patrick's day outfit that he wore to daycare on Friday, so of course I wanted a cute picture. Well, as you can see he was not in the picture taking mood.
He looks so annoyed :)
He was in a much better mood Saturday, so I got some smiles at of him!
My new favorite picture of him
He has been pulling up on everything these days!
Saturday afternoon, we headed to Magnolia to go to a shower for my dear friend Caroline. It was great seeing all my Magnolia girls!!
After the shower, we headed to Texarkana for my dad's retirement party. I'm so HAPPY he finally retired!! He deserves it! He is the hardest working person I have ever known. In addition to working 6-7 days a week for Frito Lay, he would also come home after work every day and work on the farm. So, congrats on your retirement dad! Relax and enjoy! :)
Finally retired!
The Frito Lay crew! They were all very sad to see him go!
