Cooper's First Turkey Day

Cooper turned 23 weeks on Thanksgiving day!

 Family Photo :)

We had a great Thanksgiving with all our family. For lunch, we ate with my mom, my grandmother, two aunts, and my cousin. We decided to go to take it easy this year and go to Crackerbarrel and eat. We had a good time!  Cooper slept the whole time :)

Later that evening we had dinner with Eric's mom side of the family.  It's nice living in Arkadelphia.  We used to have to do so much driving on the holidays to see everyone, but not this year!

 So sweet!  Love this!

5 Months and More!

I still can't believe my little man is 5 months old today.  It just seems like yesterday I found out I was pregnant.  Time has really flown by.  He weighed 15# 1.5oz on Monday.  His 2 bottom teeth have come in!  Along with that comes him wanting to chew on EVERYTHING!  His fingers are his favorite thing.  I've bought him teething rings but he prefers his fingers or a blanket :)  I love watching his personality develop.  He loves to smile.  There's nothing better than when he gives me one of his gummy grins!  I've been trying to get a picture of his teeth, but he loves to rub his tongue over them, so its hard to get a picture.  The other day though, Eric got him to smile real big and I got a picture that I absolutely love and you can see his tooth!!

What a ham!! :)

The past 2 weeks my poor little guy has been through the ringer.  Last Monday we went to the doctor because he had been coughing all weekend and I wanted to make sure all the drainage he's had didn't go into his chest.  Well, his lungs were clear, but they found he had an ear infection, so they started him on Amoxicillin.  Exactly a week later he woke up Monday morning covered in huge red bumps all over his body.  I freaked!!  I didn't know what in the world he had.  I didn't think it was the medicine because he had been on Amoxicillin 2 months ago for a different ear infection.  Well, it turns out he was allergic to the Penicillin.  The doctor said sometimes there won't be any symptoms the first few times its taken.  So, we know now to avoid penicillin!

It's hard to tell in these pictures, but these spots were bright bright red!
My poor baby

This past weekend was busy busy, but lots of fun!  Saturday, we went to watch my niece Micah Claire run her first race.  She did such a good job!  I hated I didn't get any pictures, but I was holding Coop the whole time and didn't get a chance.  We were so proud of you MC! :)  Later that afternoon, we went to Paxton's 3rd birthday party.  He loves pirates, so he had a pirate party!  It was so cute!  Jeanette did such a great job decorating.  She even had bandannas for all the "baby pirates" :)

My little pirate

Jeanette made this super cute pirate ship, so of course we had to get a picture of all the kiddos and us in the boat :) Love it!
