Birthday Celebrations!

Lat week we celebrated lots of birthdays.  First one was daddy's.  He turned the big 3-1 this year.  He did much better than he did last year when he turned the big 3-0 :) We celebrated at Nonee and Pepaw's house the night before.  Aunt Cindy made chicken spaghetti and Nonee made daddy's favorite, strawberry cake.

Family photo attempt.  If only Coop had been looking the right way :)

He was getting excited to help daddy blow out his birthday candles

 Make a wish!

He was so proud of himself.  He was clapping and laughing!

Later that night, they had a dance party! Its a little long but too funny :)

Thursday was such a pretty day, we decided to take Coop out to the driving range and hit golf balls (His favorite thing to do!)  He was in heaven!

Lining up!

 I'm trying to concentrate momma!

Look at that swing! :)

On Friday, we headed out to deer camp for Poppa's surprise birthday party.  Once again Coop had to help blow out the birthday candles :)

He cheered when the candles went out!

He loves his Poppa!

And the last birthday of the week was on Saturday when Coop turned 21 months old! Only 3 more months till his birthday!  I better start planning his party! :)

Playing catch up!

I feel like its been a while since I've posted anything, but the past 2 weeks have been busy!  Here are a few highlights.... Cooper continues to be a little ham.  He cracks me up daily! He loves watching American Idol.  The other night he got his microphone and sang along with them and danced :)

The next American Idol! (As long as he doesn't get his mommy and daddy's singing voice)

And I guess if the singing career doesn't work out, then he can be a pro golfer.  He is obsessed with golf!  We can't go outside without him saying "golf, golf"!

Cheesing it up!

Last Sunday, I ran in my second half marathon.  This one was the Lucky Marathon in Little Rock.  It was crazy how many people were there! The energy was amazing!  There were people and bands all along the way cheering you on.  They made running 13.1 miles fun! Plus I got to do it with 2 great friends!

All ready to go! It was in the twenties that morning so we bundled up!

And we finished! We all felt like champs with our big pretty metals! I was really happy with my time. I did it in 2 hours and 1 minute.  Before the race, I said this was my last half to do, but who knows I may do another one. The training is time consuming, but when you get done, the accomplishment you feel is indescribable.  But for now I'm going to give my body a break :)

Yesterday was so pretty, we spent the whole day outside.  We went to deer camp that morning and while Daddy and Poppa worked, we played!

Of course we had to take his golf clubs

He's focusing hard here! LOL!

He was so happy to see Poppa!

Then he decided to mow the deer camp lawn.  Won't be long and he will probably be mowing it for real ;)

Love that smile!

When we got home from deer camp, we spent the rest of the day outside cleaning up our flower beds and Coop loved it because he got to play outside all day.

At one point in the day, he decided he needed to ride the razorback. LOL! It was the perfect size for him :)
