32 weeks!

I had my 32 week doctor visit Tuesday.  Other than my iron being a little low, everything else was good.  She started me on a iron supplement, so that should help.  So far, I still feel good, I haven't got to that miserable stage yet.  I have just been very tired!  I wish I could take a nap every day! :)  Well, it won't be long now!  Only 8 weeks left!

Happy Easter!

It was a wonderful, busy weekend!  We went to Little Rock Saturday to have our maternity pictures made.  Jessica Worley did our pictures and if you have never seen her work, you are missing out!  You should check out her website, http://sweetlittlethingsphotography.net/.  She is very talented!  She posted a few pictures already from the shoot on facebook and I love them!  I can't wait to see the rest.

On our way home we stopped by and ate dinner with Eric's family.  Kayla and Reece were dying Easter eggs and they made some for Cooper.  It was so sweet!  I had to take a picture of them :)

Even though we didn't get to see our family on Easter, we had a great day. We went to church and afterwards our friends Jamie and Caroline invited us to come eat Easter lunch with their family.  It was delicious!

Trip to Labor and Delivery

Well, my weekend started off a little shaky!  I had a conference in Little Rock on Friday and on my way there that morning, I got rear ended!  Thankfully it wasn't as bad as it could have been.  I called my doctor and just to be on the safe side, they wanted me to go to the hospital and get evaluated to make sure little man was okay. My conference just so happened to be at Baptist Hospital so I went to the ER and they admitted me into labor and delivery.  They hooked me up to the monitor for about 2 hours to watch him and did blood work.  Thankfully everything came back normal!!  AMEN!  Poor Eric made a flying trip to Little Rock from Magnolia.  He left Magnolia about 9:45 and was sitting in my room at 11:30.  I'm just glad he made it safely! HA!  They finally released us about 2:00.  Needless to say it was a long drive home.  We were exhausted, but very thankful and blessed everything was okay. Thank you to everyone for their prayers!  And thank you to my Aunt Gail and my two friends Emily and Nick who came by to keep me company until Eric was able to get there.  Hopefully we will not have to go back to the hospital until it's time for our little guy to arrive!

30 weeks!

I went to the doctor this week and again everything was good.  Last week, when we went for the 4-D ultrasound, they told me he was laying breech.  I asked my doctor about it, but she said he had plenty of time to turn.  Hopefully he will!  I really don't want a c-section, and I've heard it's no fun trying to turn the baby!  So pray mister Cooper turns! :)

I'm so ready to get the nursery finished up so I can post pics!  It's almost done!  Eric got the dresser put together last weekend.  Poor thing, he said he would rather put 10 cribs together than to put another dresser together again.  It was in a million pieces and the instructions were horrible.  He got it together though!  This weekend, hopefully we can make more progress on the room.  Saturday, we are signed up for a prepared childbirth class at St. Michael's.  That should be fun! HA!  We originally hadn't planned on taking any classes, but we had some friends recommend it, so we decided to do it.  I think it will be good! Oh, I'm so ready for this little guy to be here!  Only 10 more weeks!

4-D Bummer

Eric and I went yesterday to Texarkana to have our 4-D ultrasound done of our little man.  Both my mom and his mom took off work and drove to Texarkana to meet us too.  I was so excited about the day, but it didn't quite turn out how I planned.  I wish I had pictures to show, but we didn't get any!! :(  He was tucked up in a ball so tight all you could see was his back and the back of his head.  The ultrasound lady suggested I drink some caffeine to get him moving, so Eric went and got me a Mt. Dew (yuck, but I drank it).  Well, mommy was wired, but Cooper didn't even budge.  The lady said he was actually tucked up even tighter than he was before.  GRR!  So, she advised we go eat lunch and come back.  We thought maybe some Mexican food might get him moving, so we all went and had a great lunch and I ate lots of salsa! I had no complaints about having to do that :)  Well, we went back after lunch and, of course, he was still tucked up in a ball.  I was so disappointed!!  I really wanted these pictures.  I guess this means he's gonna be stubborn like his daddy! HA!

28 weeks...12 to go!!

Well its been a good week!  I had a doctor's appointment on Wednesday and everything was great.  I now start going every two weeks!  Crazy!  Our little man is going to be here before we know it.  I'm really excited because this week on Wednesday we go for our 4-D ultrasound.  I can't wait to see what Cooper looks like and his features more up close and personal :)

This weekend we continued to work on the baby room, and Eric got the crib put together.  Thankfully, it wasn't as bad as he thought it was going to be!  He did a good job!
