Mom and Jim's wedding weekend

This weekend was really special.  My mom remarried her love and best friend :) Its never too late to be with the one you love!!  It feels wonderful to have our family "officially" back together again.  For the wedding festivities, we all spent the weekend at Lake Greeson.  Friday, Jim grilled steaks for everyone and we had a big feast.

10 Months!

Cooper turned 10 months old yesterday!!  I think I say this every month but it just doesn't seem possible!  Some updates since last month... He is now mobile!!  He is crawling everywhere and the little booger is fast!!  And, of course, he always wants to get into things that he's not supposed to, for example, the dog food bowl.  He will make a bee-line for it as soon as you sit him down.  There could be 100 toys on the floor but he will still crawl to that dang bowl.  Cracks me up :)  Along with crawling, he continues to pull up on everything!  He now has 8 teeth and they just keep popping up.  He still only likes baby foods and baby yogurt.  If it isn't that consistency, he does not like it.  He put a puff in his mouth yesterday on his own, but he made the most horrible face and spit it out.  Oh well, at least he tried it :)  He is a little chatter box these days too.  Of course it doesn't make much sense yet, but he loves to jabber.  I keep waiting on him to say momma....still no luck.  He did say bye bye over the weekend.
We go back to see Dr. Vallery about his ears next Monday.  When we went for his 6 week check up, they were clear, but now he has another infection because they are draining again.  At least with the tubes, the infection drains out his ears instead of staying built up.  I just wish he would stop getting ear infections all together.  I know it can't make him feel good.

Well, Cooper man, we love you so much!  Happy 10 months!

Our Easter Weekend

Our week started off pretty rough.  Monday I stayed home from work because I had a stomach bug.  Oh it was horrible!  Then I get a call from daycare later that day that Coop had fever so Eric had to go pick him up.  We went ahead and took him to the doctor, but they couldn't find anything wrong.  They said it could be viral or just teething.  Tuesday, Cooper had his 6 week follow up with Dr. Vallery for his tubes.  I still wasn't feeling 100% so Eric stayed home from work and we took him together.  He got a good report and passed his hearing test, so we don't have to go back for 6 months.  Coop and I finally started feeling better, but then Eric came down with the stomach bug on Thursday and Friday.  So, needless to say, we had a very sickly week!  Friday evening, Kayla and Reece wanted Cooper to come dye Easter eggs with them.  They were very brave souls to want to be around us after we had all been sick! HA!  But, we went and he had a blast dying eggs for his first Easter :)

He had more fun with the egg dippers than anything else

He loved playing with the eggs.  So much that he broke a few :)

Saturday we went to a fundraiser "Rally for Allie" with Aunt Brooke, Uncle Shawn, and the girls.  There Cooper got to meet the Easter bunny!

MC had a blast in all the bouncy houses!

Sunday we went to church and made all the rounds to the grandparent's house to celebrate Easter

I think he liked it :)
