This year for Thanksgiving we loaded up and took a family trip to Branson! I has never been to Branson and was so excited to go at this time of the year because I heard it was so pretty when everything is decorated for Christmas.
Before we hit the road though I had to get some Thanksgiving pictures!

Once we made it to Branson, the first thing on the agenda was the Dixie Stampede! Of all the things we did, this was my favorite!
We weren't allowed to take any pictures during the show but we did buy our family photo picture that they took of us before the show for the bargain price of $30! :)

Friday, we woke up and decided to go ride Go-carts!

And of course we had to hit up the arcade! This boy loves his games!
Friday evening we all had tickets for the polar express! Coop was so excited to ride a train to the North Pole to see Santa!

We did a little shopping at The Landing while we waited on our train and Coop spotted this big deer!
Finally our train arrives! He was so excited!

After our train ride, we went to Build a Bear for the first time and of course Coop chose Raphael

Later that day, it was time to head to Silver Dollar City! I really liked Silver Dollar City. It was so pretty at night with all the Christmas lights. We went on a very busy weekend though so we didn't get to do as much as we wanted because the lines were so long, but we still had a great time. Coop even rode his first roller coaster, Fire in the Hole. I was surprised he was tall enough to ride it, but he was and he was so excited! I was so proud of him too because it was scary for me so I know it had to be for him too!! But he was such a big boy. He did great..however, he told us he did NOT want to do it again :)
Eric and I rode another roller coaster together and oh my gosh...it was probably the most intense and scary roller coaster I have ever ridden. And we rode it at night which made it worse! But it was FUN!
