Just a Few Highlights!

The last week has been busy busy! I feel like we have been on the go nonstop.  Here's a few highlights of our past week :)

 

 Last Wednesday Coop rode out to deer camp with daddy and he got to do his favorite thing...Help mow!

 

 

Then when they got home, he was ready to ride his tractor! :)

  

 Last Friday, we went to Badger Fest to watch Aunt Kay Kay dance on the Dazzler squad.  They had bouncy houses set up for kids to play on and he loved it.  It was his first time in a bouncy house..

 Thankfully cousin Reece bounced with him and I didn't have to get in there :)

 

 

Next it was time to slide.  This was his favorite one!....

Saturday morning we went to deer camp to go fishing. He was amazed at some of the big catfish we caught!

 

Sunday, the girls came over to do a little afternoon swimming. These 3 had a blast!

 



And to make the day even better, Aunt Brooke brought chocolate cupcakes! YUM!

This week we had a first...We are about to redo Coop's room and do a big boy room with a big boy bed.  But first, we thought we better get him used to sleeping in a regular bed without rolling out, so we decided to take the front off his crib to help him transition.  Needless to say he was excited!

 

 

Coop's gonna be a big brother!

I am very happy to announce that we are expecting our second child! This news came to us in a shocking, but exciting way! Last month, I went in to have surgery to have my gall bladder removed and to our surprise, they were not able to do surgery because I had a positive pregnancy test.  I was only 3 weeks pregnant at that time.  Even though we were surprised, this news has been such a blessing because we were told we would not be able to get pregnant without fertility help.  But, I guess God had other plans and I'm sure glad he did :)

 

On 8/15/13 we had our first doctor's appointment and they said everything looked great and I was measuring at almost 9 weeks.

This little boy was so excited to see the baby and hear the heartbeat!  He is going to be an awesome big brother! :)

First trip to the Dentist!

Yesterday, Coop had his first dentist appointment.  I was really nervous about it and I really didn't think it was going to go well, but to my surprise, this boy loved the dentist!

They gave him some shades to wear and he was loving it!

He even let them clean them with the toothbrush.  I thought the noise would scare him but it didn't!

Camp Meeting 2013

Last Friday was the start of our week of camp meeting at Davidson Campground.  Coop spent the entire week and had so much fun.  This year he was able to get around better and play hard! And did he ever play hard.  He was wore out by the end of the week :)
