32 WEEKS!

Cooper turned 32 weeks old on Thursday!!  I am very happy to report that for the past week he has slept through the night.  He goes to bed around 8:00 and he has been sleeping until 4:00 or 5:00 the next morning.  Yay!!  His top teeth have finally popped through on one side.  I'll be glad when they are in because they have really been bothering him, poor thing.

This week he has really started to enjoy his bath.  He used to just sit there and stare at me bored during bath time, but now he splishes and splashes with all his toys and he loves it!

Sweet Laughter

Cooper and Eric were having some father/son time this afternoon and he got Cooper to laughing so hard, it was hilarious! These moments make my day!!

7 Months Old!

Cooper, I cannot believe you are 7 months old today!  Where has the time gone?!?  It seems like yesterday we were bringing you home from the hospital.  You are such a happy baby.  You have gotten to where you belly laugh and it is the best sound in the world.  You have a great appetite!!  Along with nursing, you are eating a variety of fruits and veggies.  Your favorite veggies are sweet potatoes, carrots, and squash.  You used to like green beans, but now, not so much.  So, basically you like nothing green at the moment, but I'm not giving up yet!  We'll keep trying :)  You love pretty much all fruit!!  The only fruit I have found that you didn't like was mango.  You broke out into a rash when you ate bananas and kiwi, so we stay clear of those.  You are not the best sleeper, but I'm hoping and praying that will get better soon.  Until then, I'll just make my coffee a little stronger in the mornings to wake me up :)  You are sitting up like a pro now.  I think you will be crawling any day! You babble and talk all the time.  You actually said daddy yesterday!  It kinda hurt momma's feelings, but that's okay :) Oh you have brought so much joy into our lives and we love you to pieces!!

HAPPY 7 MONTHS COOP!

Happy New Year!

Well its a new year!!  I'm  a little late on my New Year's post, but its been a busy week.  Our New Year's was low key but perfect.  We went over to Aunt Brooke and Uncle Shawn's.  We grilled steaks and made a little bonfire to roast marshmallows and make smores.  The kids loved it! We almost made it until midnight but Cooper woke up about 11 and he was very cranky, so we went home and brought in the new year at the house.

 I know this year is going to bring so many good times, and I can't wait! One new thing we have started this year is Cooper is now going to sleep in his crib in his room. He was sleeping in his pack and play in our room, but we were always in and out, going to the bathroom and our room is right by the living room where its loud, so we thought this might help him sleep better. Well, it really hasn't. He still wakes up around 1:00 and he's up every 2-3 hours after that. Oh well, maybe one day he'll sleep through the night.  I hope that's his New Year's resolution! :)
